Jace Denmark takes home third place in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship.
After winning Race 1 at Portland, Denmark was in a very strong position for the Championship title, just 4 points behind the Championship frontrunner and in pole position for Races 2 and 3.
Race 2: Unfortunately, as Denmark led the field into turn one on the opening lap of Race 2, he was hit from behind and spun off track, causing damage and putting Denmark two laps behind. At the end of Race 2, Denmark was 6 points behind the Championship leader, and just one point in front of third place.
Race 3: Denmark was on pole again for Race 3 and unbelievably, was once again hit from behind going into turn one. Although Denmark's title hopes were ruined, after time in the pits, Denmark returned to the race, getting a final point for the fastest lap.
Although a disappointed weekend, Denmark had an extremely successful season, taking home 4 wins and 9 podiums, third place in the Championship and the Hi-Tide Spirit Award for the USF2000 2022 season.
